Every year, we host a three day summit for our brand ambassadors. Last weekend, we descended upon the Crescent City, a.k.a. New Orleans, for a fun weekend of sisterhood and fabulous style. Our Style Squad is a group of stylish, social media-savvy trendsetters who also happen to be some of our most loyal members.
We kicked off the weekend with a Friday night cocktail mixer co-hosted with the Style and Taste at the female owned and run gallery and non-profit, Roux Maison. Signature Tanqueray gin cocktails and a photo booth were provided.
Our Saturday half-day summit took place at the beautiful Ace Hotel. Our brand ambassadors participated in valuable feedback roundtable discussions and were treated to an exclusive preview of our July and August apparel styles and shoes. Our social media team presented their top tips and showed everyone how create a powerful InstaStory.
While noshing on fried chicken sliders and BBQ shrimp and grits, we hosted a panel of three stylish NOLA-based influencers. Kelli Saulny of Style and Taste, who hosts fine spirit tastings and activations aimed at women; Cymande Ford of Plus is a Plus and owner and designer of UglyBettyBoyCrush jewelry; and Samjah Iman of Style & Energy, a writer and style blogger were all on hand to inspire. They discussed building their personal brand, their favorite style and social media tips, and shared how they converted their side hustle into their main hustle.
Brand ambassadors also got to take a home a gift bag full of treats, including Smolder Cosmetics highlighters, Purlisse body scrub, beGlammed fans and gift cards, ONEHOPE wine, and the June issue of InStyle magazine. If you didn’t catch our Instastories take over on Purlisse’s Instagram, make sure to follow them.
Although goodbyes are always bittersweet, we celebrated the end of the weekend at the historic Maison Soule restaurant with balcony shoefies, a Southern-style brunch and mimosas before everyone headed home.
