Bourbon Bacon BBQ Chicken Kebabs
A combination of bourbon, bacon and BBQ sauce, these kebabs are the perfect mix of sweet and salty.
What you’ll need:
8 oz. barbecue sauce
1/8 cup bourbon
2 lbs. chicken breast
2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. paprika
3¼ tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. smoked paprika
6 slices uncooked bacon, cut into small pieces
What to do:
Light the grill and heat to medium-high. In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and bourbon and mix well. Combine the kosher salt, white pepper, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, dark brown sugar, smoked paprika and bacon in a food processor and pulse until completely smooth. Put the chicken pieces in a bowl and rub them with the bacon paste. Once well coated, thread the chicken pieces onto skewers. Place the kebabs on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until nearly cooked. Brush them with the bourbon barbecue sauce and cook for an additional minute on each side. Drizzle with the remaining BBQ sauce.
Guinness Beef Sliders
Rich and decadent, these sliders are perfect for game days and beyond.
What you’ll need:
Sandwiches
1 tbsp. butter
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
½ vidalia onion, sliced
¼ cup Guinness Beer
1 package of Kings Hawaiian Savory Rolls
1 lb. sliced roast beef
6 slices Swiss cheese

1 bottle Guinness (or use the remainder of the bottle used for mushrooms & onions)
1 stick butter
¼ cup brown sugar
1½ tbsp. dried mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
What to do:
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, onions and Guinness and sauté until liquid is absorbed. Prepare glaze by combining all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then lower heat slightly and cook until thickened. (Mixture should be reduced by at least half—when in doubt, reduce it a little more!) Assemble sandwiches by slicing rolls in half, then filling with roast beef, sautéed mushrooms & onions and Swiss cheese. Pour glaze evenly over sandwiches. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
