Bring Your Kids To Work At JustFab Headquarters

8th May 2018 / By Maggie Katreva

Bring Your Kids to Work Day is an annual event at the TechStyle campus in alignment with national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. The experience provides hands-on learning opportunities for TechStyle kids to explore the possibilities for their future careers! This kids participate in over 6 activity tracks, learn about TechStyle’s business, and meet our employees. We hope the day inspires creativity, and sparks ideas for what they want to be when they grow up.

TechStyle kicks off the morning with a kid-friendly pancake breakfast and dives right into learning. We divide up the day based on kids age ranges to provide optimal learning experiences.

Our little kids participate in a variety of activities and “stations”:

  1. Be A Designer For A Day – kids get to design their very own outfit or accessory that they can take home and show off. Who doesn’t want to rock your own custom outfit?
  2. Kid Friendly Yoga Class, hosted by Fabletics – get kids excited about living a healthy lifestyle and exercise downward dog with our Fabletics team.
  3. JustFab Commercial – show kids hands-on what it takes to shoot a commercial. Work with the equipment and its – lights, camera, action!
  4. Bookmarks for CHLA – decorate bookmarks for the Children’s Hospital LA’s own library. It’s important to do good in the community around us and help inspire innovation through education and reading.

For our teens, we get them thinking about their futures and help exercise their creativity in the workforce by curated activity stations:

  1. Write A Resume – teach hard-skills on how to write a resume while providing hands on career coaching from our own employees. We challenge these kids to explore endless possibilities in the workforce.
  2. Shark Tank – brainstorm and create TechStyle’s next brand and pitch it to our panel of judges, “Shark Tank” style. Our panel consists of a range of TechStyle employees to help provide positive feedback and inspiration for the teens.
