#FABforALL Let’s Talk About Nudes…

It was a typical sunny LA morning when 6 of our employees gathered in the studio here at the JustFab headquarters to talk about Nudes. Specifically, we asked, “What does nude mean to you, and what has your experience been shopping for nudes?” This might seem like a simple question, but the fact of the matter (as we quickly realized) was that nude can mean a lot of things. While we’re not claiming to solve this problem in the fashion world, we’re just looking to open up the conversation. Here’s how it all went down…

First thing’s first, hair and makeup! There was a full hair and makeup team on set ready to pamper each of the girls. Once they were in model mode, it was time to shoot. With a mix of Beyoncé and Justin Bieber blasting through the speakers (courtesy of each girl’s custom playlist) they began to let loose and strike pose after pose in their varying nude ensembles.

Between shooting, we discussed with the girls some of the challenges they face when shopping for nude shoes, what kind of nudes they look for, and what nude means to them. Our latest collection of heels come in 3 different styles and 6 shades in each. While we may not have every color of nude on the spectrum, it’s a step in the right direction. Opening the discussion and hearing varying perspectives was our main goal.
