At JustFab we love to engage and have fun with our fans across social media. Do you ever wonder what happens to people that win sweepstakes. Who are they? What do they do with their prize? Well, we have decided to bring you the experience of the lucky winner of our JustFab X Sexy Hair Sweepstakes. Meet Alexa, the grand prize winner:
1. OMG, you were randomly picked as the SexyHair X JustFab Sweepstakes. Your first thoughts?
When I received the message that I was the winner, I was SO excited! I am obsessed with JustFab shoes and clothes, and SexyHair products are amazing. This SexyHair X JustFab Sweepstakes was a match made in heaven!
2. You get a free trip to NYC. Who are you bringing?
When I found out that I could bring a friend, I knew right away that I wanted to bring my younger sister, Olivia. She is a fellow fashion lover, and is a tall blonde version of myself.
3. Touchdown in NYC – where to first?
Once my sister and I landed in NYC, we checked into our hotel, the Westin Times Square. Our hotel and transportation were seamlessly taken care of. From our hotel room, we had a view of the Empire State Building and the lights of Times Square. After checking in we went out to dinner at R Lounge. From our dinner table, we had a window front view of Times Square. It began to snow while we were at dinner, it was magical!
4. Lights, camera, action. How was the photoshoot around the city?
The photoshoot was a blast. Working with Sloane LaMartina from SexyHair was amazing. Hair and makeup artists arrived at our hotel to get us glammed up with SexyHair products. They made us feel so special, and there was a photographer every step of the way to capture every moment. During the shoot, we really wanted to capture everything “NY”. We took pictures with a yellow Taxi cab, and in Times Square walking across the busy crosswalks. We had a lot of fun.
5. What were you wearing?
We had Katrina Katona personally style us for the trip. She was amazing to work with and selected the cutest outfits for us. The first outfits we wore were dresses. The color of my dress was blush, and I wore a rose faux fur trim coat over the top. This coat was perfect for the cold New York weather. My sister wore the same dress but in navy blue, with an incredible faux fur vest over the top. We loved this editorial look! Our shoes were incredible. I had on the Philomene booties and my sister had on the knee high Deedee Heeled Boot.
Our second outfit was perfect for the holidays in New York. I wore black leggings that had a touch of faux leather, a cream sweater, and a black sequin blazer that definitely made a statement. My Madelina Booties were my favorite part of this outfit!
My sister wore silver pants, a black long sleeve, and a red trench coat. Her silver sparkly Jordanna Heeled Boots made the outfit so festive!
We were also given different clothing items and accessories to wear throughout our trip. The fur stole came in handy with the cold weather. I wore the pink puffer jacket with the tan stole which was comfy and cute. We received handbags as well which went great with all of our outfits.
6. First time in NYC, or have you been there before? What was your favorite part of the trip?
My sister and I have both been to New York before, but it was our first time doing a photo shoot in Times Square. My Uncle lives in New York, and my mom and aunt flew out as well. It became a family affair! I recently got engaged, so this trip was a perfect opportunity to go to Kleinfelds Bridal store. I didn’t say yes to the dress, but I had a great time. One of my favorite parts of the trip was getting to see the Rockette’s at the Radio City Music Hall. My sister and I are so thankful to have experienced this once in a lifetime experience thanks to JustFab and SexyHair!
