How To: Pack Like A Pro

24th May 2017 / By Guest Contributor

Summer is just around the corner, and you know what that means … travel season is about to be in full swing! If you’re feeling a little stressed about how to pack, what to pack, just packing in general, never fear—because we’ve got tips from celeb stylist, Daniel Musto, and our team of personal stylists! Read on to find out how to pack like a pro—and be sure to watch our video, too!

PACK IT ALL IN
A tote doubles as a laptop case and fits all your essentials, from your makeup bag to a change of shoes! Your go-to tote should match not only your personality but go along with the key pieces you love most. Black, cognac and blush shades are classic neutrals, while bright hues and fun prints (hello, bananas!) are perfect for adding some spice to your vacay-ready outfits.

SWIMSUIT OR TOP? IT’S BOTH!
A multi-way one-piece swimsuit and cropped bikini tops are so versatile. Sure, they can be worn on the beach—but why stop there? We’re all about showing a bit of skin without going overboard. Wear a bikini top with high-waisted pants and flats for a poolside lunch, or try a deep plunging one-piece as a bodysuit for night. Wear it with a jean jacket or another light layer with anything from maxi skirts to shorts to boyfriend jeans!

MAKE A STATEMENT WITH WEDGES
Nothing says summer like a strappy wedge! The best part is, they go with just about anything and instantly add a laidback vibe to your look. Wear them with jeans and a tee for daytime, then change into an LBD and add fun earrings for dinner!

THAT VEST DOUBLES AS A DRESS
Wrap styles are known to be figure flattering … and this elongated vest doesn’t disappoint when you wear it as a wrap dress! A cargo style is just the layer you need to pair with shorts and sheer separates on vacay. Tie it in the back to highlight your curves, or at the waist for a dress-like effect!
