Raise your hand if you feel like your workplace is freezing cold. The “normal” office temperature is still quite a myth, but we know one thing for sure … we’ve piled up cardigans, jackets, even blankets on our work chairs for the freezing indoor temps. With summer basically around the corner, we narrowed down a few outfits that can easily transition you from the South Pole (AKA your office) to happy hour or dinner plans with friends. In addition, we partnered with our friends at Living Spaces to renovate the JustFab brand room. Take a look at the amazing sofa and chairs we get to enjoy on a daily basis. Let’s just say Living Spaces managed to make our meetings a lot more enjoyable and stylish!
With a busy work schedule, meetings are inevitable and it’s difficult to predict what the “thermostat mood of the day” will be. For our first look, we styled the on trend Culotte Jumpsuit in black. It’s chic, comfortable and perfect for layering. Combined with a light denim jacket and the Azalea shooties, you’ve got a head to toe look that’s professional and will also (thankfully) keep you warm.
We picked a dress and light linen jacket combination for our second look. (top image) The Easy High-Low Shirt Dress in Passion Fruit is perfect for the office and also appropriate for any post work activity. With the Linen Safari Jacket, your look is still summery, while the linen blend adds a polished finish to your already fab outfit.
One of our favorite tricks is to surround yourself in warm colors and textures. Our new upholstered Tate Charcoal Estate Sofa from Living Spaces keeps us cozy on colder days, and the dark grey color gives the illusion of being in a warmer space. Try adding a few oversized fabric or velvet accent pillows to any seating area for extra cushioning and heat.
