As the weather gets colder, there’s nothing more gorgeous than a warm, romantic makeup look (hey, it doesn’t have to be 90 degrees outside to get all bronzed and beautiful, right?). This fun, flirty, easy to wear look seriously works on every skin tone from light to dark and complements any outfit. Want to up the romance factor with this easy-to-perfect makeup look? Read on!
FOR YOUR SKIN
Start with a primer (Smashbox has the best one). Add your favorite illuminating foundation and concealer and then set the look with smoothing powder. Use an angled brush to apply rosy blush on your cheekbones. Finish with an illuminating, contouring highlighter on top.
FOR YOUR EYES
First, apply a primer (we love this one!) from the lashes to the brows. When it comes to the perfect eyeshadow shades, we highly recommend the Urban Decay Naked3 palette. Use a rose gold hue on the center of the lid and apply from the inner to outer corners. Pack the shadow on for extra color. Then, use a blending brush to apply the same color to the eyelid crease. Now, pick up a matte brown and brush it over the crease. Go over the eye with a large blending brush. Apply a smooth dark brown eyeliner directly where the lashes grow, then grab your favorite mascara and brush several coats only over the top lashes. Draw extra attention to your eyes with a bronze/gold powder under your eyes, applying from the outer to inner corners, then finish with mascara on your lower lashes.
