Move over New York Fashion Week! It was fashion’s big night out just a few days prior at JustFab’s Headquarters where we decided to celebrate our best and brightest customers-Diamond Elites. We invited them to an exclusive private screening of the Project Runway JustFab challenge episode. Our Diamond Elites never fail to disappoint us and came decked out in their JustFab apparel, shoes and accessories.
We first kicked the evening off with an ice breaker event so that our ladies could get to know each other and share their favorite fashion tips. Then, we jumped right into the Project Runway private screening. Did you watch the episode? If not, you can see our official recap here! We were lucky enough to have our Chief Marketing Officer, Traci Inglis, our Vice President of Design, Yuchin Mao and fashion blogger Rachel (@LovelyInLa) to host a panel after the screening. We got to discover some behind the scenes secrets from Traci, how we were able to tailor the winning style for mass production from Yuchin, and how to style the winning look for plus-sized women from Rachel.
Next it was party time! Our Diamond Elites are ladies on the go so we made sure to stock the party with activities that would keep them on their JustFab heels! We were excited to have Trust Hair Salon set up a braid bar where they made sure our Diamond Elites looked fab with their trendy braids. Next up, we had the pleasure of having some of FIDM’s top alumni students come in to create unique fashion sketches of our Diamond Elites. Everyone looked just as amazing on paper as they did in real life.
Our stylish P.S. Team was in attendance to give our Diamond Elites an exclusive first look at some of the new styles coming out in October and November, and to provide the girls with styling tips that best suit their body types. We always make sure to have a photobooth at each of our parties, because who doesn’t love a photobooth?! Our Diamond Elites are so photogenic that it only makes sense! Last but not least (and my personal favorite activity) was the Snapchat Runway! We wanted our Diamond Elites to strut their stuff Heidi Klum style, so we built a runway and encouraged our girls to let us post their catwalk realness onto their own Snapchats! We all had front row seats to some fabulous Diamond Elites.
No party can properly end without Sprinkles cupcakes and overloaded gift bags. Our Diamond Elites received plenty of fashion reading material, ColourPop liquid lipstick, lip liner, highlighter, a Diamond Elite branded wine tumbler, and a compact mirror. (Quite the gift bag if we do say so ourselves!)
