Off the shoulder looks are everything this summer, be it a dress or a shirt. In this first look we decided to combine this crisp button down Off Shoulder Tunic with 2 other trends that are super popular right now- culottes, and the Juana espadrilles. Because these Zipper Linen Culottes are voluminous in their silhouette, it’s really important to emphasize the waist in order to create shape. For this accentuated waistline, DO pair them with a tucked in blouse or top. DON’T pair them with anything too loose or flowy. Remember, tucked in tops are key with this cropped wide leg trend! To complete this look we added a the Hugh saddle bag in a bold yellow color to really make this blue look pop!

For our second look and trend of the season we have the Cold Shoulder Maxi dress. Maxi dresses have been a recurring trend each summer, and for good reason. This flowy style is flattering on just about any body type, and is one of the easiest trends to pull off.

We paired this maxi with the Romina heeled sandal for some added height, but flat sandals would work as well. What you don’ want to do, is pair them with mid calf booties. This will take away from the breezy, effortless approach of the maxi, and make you appear shorter than you actually are. Finish the look off with an oversized bag like our James tote in cognac, and voila, the perfect daytime style.

Ahh, the trusty gladiator trend, back again! These sandals have become a summertime staple, and these knee high versions give the look a refreshing silhouette. Strappy knee high lengths are perfect for dressing up casual basics and will add instant sass. Here, we paired the Martina gladiators in cognac with this laidback striped romper to give it a more stylized appeal.

When it comes to the knee high gladiator trend, DO pair them with short styles- rompers, short sundresses, denim shorts/skirts, you get the picture. DON’T pair them with midi dresses or culottes- anything that has a mid length hemline; this will cut you off. A maxi dress is fine, so long as there is some sort of side slit for them to peak out from. We topped this look off with our fresh white Tanner bucket bag for the perfect beach-ready style.

Now that we’ve filled you in on our do’s and don’ts, it’s time to embrace these look-at-me-now trends with sheer confidence! Be sure to #JustFab us on Instagram so we can see your summer style!
