Block heels are hard to categorize in the shoe world. They can best be described as a hybrid of a heeled sandal and a bootie. A lot of us have trouble styling them because of their bulky look and feel. It’s just hard to tell what might look good with them. However, when styled properly, they can make the perfect trendy accent to your outfit. Here are some ways you can style block heels effortlessly from day to night.
Daytime Look – “Girl Next Door”
I paired the Verenley block heels with the Crochet Hem Crossover Dress to create a super feminine, sweet look. The Leland bag in coral red adds the perfect pop of color. It’s the perfect outfit for a picnic at the park. Don’t forget the rosé! (You could fit a bottle in this bag, just saying.)
Nighttime Look – “Girl On The Go”
I styled the same pair of shoes with a different outfit to create a completely different, casual nighttime look. Block heels go fabulously with a great pair of jeans like the Cropped Slim Boyfriend. You’ll be looking cool as a cucumber in the Cold Shoulder Knit Top (no pun intended), without looking like you tried too hard. I completed the look with the Leaf Off earrings. Grab the Desi crossover bag and you’re ready to hit the town with your girls!
There you have it – two radically different styles, same shoes. Block heels aren’t so bad after all, right?
