Hey it’s me again! I’m the Art Director at JustFab and I’m taking over the blog today to give you a little update. Last season we traveled to France as part of our “Taking the World By Style campaign”. This season we’re hitting the streets of Barcelona!
Some of you may not know, JustFab is a global brand with offices all over the world. As part of our initiative, we will continue travelling to some incredible fashion destinations and delivering you the hottest styles and trends every season. And I’m here to give you some amazing behind the scenes!
Last month I traveled to Barcelona with a tight and mighty team and explored everything that this city had to offer. We travelled to three prominent locations with our model Sophie, who as you may remember was in our last campaign.
Barcelona is a lively city full off beautiful architecture, rich history, and amazing tapas that we had the pleasure of enjoying.
There were three prominent locations that we shot in for our spring collection: French Gothic Quarters, Park Güell, and Montjuïc.
Park Güell is famous for being one of the major works of Antoni Gaudi featuring beautiful bright tiled mosaics, remarkable stone structures and a gorgeous view of the city. It was a true inspiration be overlooking Barcelona and have such breathtaking views.
Some of the restaurants we dined at really expressed that leisure spirit of the city. We went to this amazing restaurant called tickets where the food was absolute dynamite. It redefined conventions of presentation when it comes to food. They served us oysters on heated charcoal and every single food item that came out was completely exquisite.
Our day-to-day was filled with colors and life, this absolutely laidback lifestyle that we really tried to hone in on our current collection. Some key trends vary from bohemian and free-spirit, to fringe and suede, to gladiator and heeled sandals, all must-have pieces for roaming the streets of Barcelona.
