In honor of Hairstyle Appreciation Day coming up tomorrow, I decided to show you how to create this super cute braided top knot in six easy steps! Once you try this hair tutorial, I promise you will be so heart-eyed over it, this will be your new go-to look for the summer.
What You’ll Need:
Comb
Bobby-pins
Hair Tie and Elastic Mini Poly Bands
Hairspray
Directions:
Flip your hair down and brush it.
Create a french braid starting from the very tip of your neck hairline.
Once you get to the crown of your head, first tie the braid with a clear elastic mini poly band. Second secure the remaining hair and braid in an up-do ponytail.
Loop the ponytail at the top to create a messy bun. Use your bobby-pins to secure the bun in place.
Loosen your braid by carefully tugging each section in the braid. This will give you that effortlessly chic look.
Lastly, spray a few spritz of hairspray where needed and you are good to go!
I personally love this little up-do! It’s easy and totally perfect for summer.
