Growing up I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in business, I wanted to work in an office and make deals and decisions that have a great impact on the success of a company. In all honesty, I knew that because I am a woman that perhaps I would have to work a little bit harder and knock on doors a little bit louder. That wasn’t a discouraging factor for me because I know how strong and capable I am, we are. Today I work in a very successful company led mostly by women. I am very proud and fortunate to work along some of the most talented, creative and passionate ladies I have ever met. Not only are my colleagues inspiring, intelligent and dedicated– they’re also supportive of each other, helpful and extremely fashionable!

Marilyn Monroe said it best “I don’t mind living in a man’s world, as long as I can be a woman in it”. The older I get the more I understand how powerful we are and how important it is that we learn how to use our powers to get through life and get what we want and deserve. As women we are extremely multifaceted. Because of our many layers, we are able to adapt quickly and take on so many roles. I am in awe of how the women at work can go from leading an executive meeting to playing dress-up with the kiddos in a matter of hours (if not minutes). It is beautiful how we are able to transform and impact our surroundings so effortlessly.
