February is here and you know what that means. Galentine’s Day is almost near! No, that wasn’t a typo – Galentine’s Day is actually real (at least that’s what we’re telling ourselves, anyway).
Galentine’s Day was a made up holiday created by the comedy television series Parks and Recreation, in which Amy Poehler’s character throws a party for her girl friends the day before Valentine’s Day. Take a poll among your friends to create a list of movies you’d like to watch. Wine Tasting: Another great way to celebrate Galentine’s Day is by organizing a wine tasting trip with your gal pals. Book your transportation and accommodations if you’re planning on making it an overnight trip. Next, make a list of a few wineries you’d like to visit and contact them to schedule an appointment.
