Easier Than Pie: Delicious Thanksgiving Tart Recipes

Thanksgiving is near and we’re dreaming (and drooling) over all of our favorite holiday dishes. Save some room for dessert though, because we’re sharing two of our most scrumptious tart dessert recipes.

These mini dessert tarts are Instagram-worthy and almost too cute to eat. Punch up the sweet factor by serving these tarts with some whipped cream or creamy vanilla ice cream.

Pumpkin Tart Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can organic pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 packages frozen miniature tart shells
  • Whipped cream (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350º
  • Combine pumpkin, condensed milk, egg and salt in a bowl and beat with a whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour mixture into tart shells and place the shells onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake the tart shells for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool and refrigerate. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!

Pecan Tart Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 packages frozen miniature tart shells
  • Whipped cream (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350º
  • Spread pecans onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes until toasted.
  • Stir sugar and corn syrup in a bowl first. Then stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Pour mixture into tart shells and place the shells onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake the tart shells for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool and refrigerate. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
