The Purr-fect Halloween Nail Art

I’m just going to lay all my cards out on the table – I LOVE cats. So naturally, I chose black cats for this month’s nail art. Not only are black cats creepy creatures that are associated with Halloween (year round for those who are superstitious!), but I personally own a black cat, so this seemed like a no-brainer. Here’s how to make your nails look extra spooky, yet cute, with a feline twist!

First, you’ll need an assortment of polishes and tools:

A nude base coat
Black polish
Yellow polish
Detail Nail Brushes with various widths (you’ll need a very tiny one for the eye slits!)
Top coat

Then, follow the step-by-step guide below:

1. Apply base coat. For the ears: Draw two triangle shapes on each side of the nail with black polish.
2. Face: Outline a curve shape between the ears and fill in with black polish. Let dry.
3. Eyes: Carefully paint small dollops of yellow polish to create the eyes. Let dry.
4. Add a small black vertical line to create the eye slits. Let dry and apply top coat for a shiny finish.

And just like that, you have a purr-fect kitty mani. Just watch out for the cat scratch fever! Me-ow!
