1st Oct 2015 / By Guest Contributor

If you watched tonight’s episode of Project Runway, you might have lost all consciousness because the JustFab challenge winning design was hot, hot, hot!

The designers were asked to create a unique design, catering to one of the JustFab style profiles: Bombshell, Femme Nouveau, Girl Next Door, Modern Classic or Trendsetter.

Each of the contestants came up with beautiful designs during this week’s challenge, but can you guess which designer came out on top?

Plus, our very own JustFab Fashion Director, Yuchin Mao, also appeared on last night’s episode to be a guest judge on the esteemed judging panel of Project Runway. We caught up with Yuchin Mao to hear her thoughts about the JustFab Challenge episode. Read the exclusive Q&A below!

What made the winning design stand out from the other runway looks? It’s effortlessly chic, versatile to most members because it can be casual and dressy. I love that the dress can be paired with different JustFab accessories to create new looks.

What did you think of the JustFab Challenge on Project Runway? The challenge was fun and interactive! It challenged the designers to think of their girl’s style profile and create a piece that will fit with her personality.

What other JustFab pieces would you add to style the winning dress? For a cool casual look, wear the dress with denim jacket and ankle boots with cross body bag. For a night out, a fierce suede jacket and a pair of feminine pumps with a clutch to complete the whole look. My favorite thing about this dress is that it’s so versatile, so just have fun and style it up with your accessories that match your current mood!

What was going through your mind while you were judging the runway designs and what was your most important criteria for selecting your winner?  It was so great to see that the designers were all self-aware and staying true to themselves. Their style really came out in their designs and it was refreshing to see that. The most important criteria for me was that the winning design had to resonate with the JustFab girl. For me, it was about the winning dress being versatile – something that can make our members happy and help them feel beautiful.
