Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean your style has to fade. In fact, fall is one of my favorite seasons to really amp up my style! Since the weather isn’t quite cool enough to go all-out fall just yet, I’m rocking some chic transitional pieces to help my wardrobe bridge the gap between seasons.
This striped dress is SO versatile. First and foremost, it picks up on the androgynous trend of the season: a menswear-inspired shirt design with feminine flair in a dress. You can dress it up with a high heel sandal and clutch shown here, or dress it down with an everyday bag and flats or cute kicks. I have worn this dress three times already and I just got it last week! I like having pieces like this in my wardrobe that are easy to wear and versatile. Looks great both day and night and is also an excellent transition piece too. Throw a leather jacket on top and you are instant autumn!
This dress is perfect for those odd summer to fall days when the weather tends to be hot in the day, but chilly in the evening. I love these sandals – they totally speak to the bohemian vibe that’s been happening for a while now. Styling tip: these would look super cute with black ankle socks. I love socks with sandals or heels. It’s also an excellent look to transition into fall!
