JustFab at the We Can Survive Concert

Is there anything better than letting loose and swaying to fun beats for a good cause? The second annual We Can Survive concert that took place at the Hollywood Bowl gave us plenty of memorable moments. Amongst the line up of many heavyweight acts, the one that stood out the most was the one and only Pharrell. In between some of his hit songs such as “Come Get It Bae” and “Happy,” he was the only artist to take the time to speak candidly of his personal experience of losing loved ones to breast cancer: “We are here to celebrate women tonight and their survival”.

Also, our girl Gwen Stefani joined him on stage to bring us back to her 2004 hit “Hollaback Girl” and we were in music heaven! As Pharrell closed with his Oscar-nominated song, the sky lit up in a frenzy of fireworks and confetti on the stage. The positive vibes could be felt throughout the entire venue.

Our eyes couldn’t keep away from checking out the hottest trends of our fellow concert goers. We saw many fashionistas in military jackets paired with booties, while others complemented leather jackets with bold graphic tees. Another trend we spotted was denim on denim. Dark skinny jeans layered with a fitted denim vest or jacket were just what people were in the mood for this Fall. Walking out of the concert, we were left to be in a music daze craving for Gwen to come back on. In the end, the show proved to be beyond impressive and crowd pleasing. But the thing that genuinely moved people was the reaction from the fans because there’s no substitute for raw emotion.
