If you’re looking for a style pick-me-up, go to Living in Color Print. Kristin is a South Floridian, fashion-obsessed creative blogger, with photos that can make anyone smile. Her radiant style is contagious, especially for spring and upcoming summer. See our interview with her below!
Which JustFab girl are you? How has your style evolved over the years?
I would say a mix between Grand Glam and Classic Cool. My style has certainly evolved over the years, as I think it should! You go through stages in your life and your wardrobe should transition with those changes. I used to actually be very preppy (I’m talking, collared polo every day), now that I’m a business owner making a name for myself in the industry, my style is still full of color but also very feminine and classic.
Who is your biggest style inspiration & why?
Blake Lively – her style is always effortless.
What’s on your fashion “must-have list” for every woman?
A Black Boyfriend Blazer and a Little White Dress – both are staple pieces that can be transformed from day to night. Certainly two pieces every woman should invest in.
Whose closet would you love to raid & why?
Olivia Palermo – who isn’t obsessed with this woman’s wardrobe?! It’s full of prints, textures, vintage, luxury, and the classics.
Can you provide a few tips on the best shopping in Florida for residents & those who may travel there?
Florida can be very touristy (especially South Florida, where I live). If you’re visiting, try to seek out the local boutiques and curated shops for the best shopping. I promise, the selection and your experience will be way better than the typical surfside tee-shirt shops that are abundant. A few of my favorites in South Florida would be Etiquette Boutique, Frankie Miami, and ISA Boutique.
What type of occasion do you like dressing up for the most & why?
I love dressing for a fun day event with my girls. Whether it’s Sunday brunch, bridal shower, or day shopping, I feel so stylish in a cute sundress with a wedge.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Dress for your body; fit is everything. I think so many young women don’t realize that not every trend that’s ‘in’ is for everyone. It’s important to know your body and dress up for assets in a way that’s most flattering.
If you had to wear 1 outfit for the rest of your life, what would it consist of?
Distressed boyfriend jeans and a tee-shirt, hands down.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Sweets. Ah, I have such a sweet tooth…it’s awful, but marvelous at the same time! Haha.
