3 Workouts to Tone Your Legs for Spring

Our legs are going to start seeing more sunlight soon, which means it’s time to whip them into shape! To feel more confident and sexy in your cute shorts & skirts, try these 3 workouts to tone your legs.

  1. Leg raises to tone your glutes: Start on all fours, and be sure to balance your weight between your hands and knees. Lift your leg out to the side, but keep your knee bent. Swiftly kick your leg diagonally behind you, with your heel toward the ceiling. Return your knee to the floor, repeat 12 times and switch legs.
  2. Ballet plies to sculpt your calves: Stand hip distance apart with your toes turned out, facing outward. Hold onto a wall or stable chair for support. Put your weight on the balls of your feet and lift your heels, standing on your toes. Release and go back to original position. Repeat 15 times, rest and do a 2nd set of 15.
  3. Squats to slim your thighs: Position your feet shoulder-width distance apart with your toes facing forward. Place a medium rubber ball or a knotted beach towel between your thighs. Squeezing your inner thighs to keep the ball or towel steady, bend your knees and lower your hips. Hold for 2 seconds and return to standing for 2 seconds. Repeat 12 times, rest and do a 2nd set of 12.
