Aside from my usual arsenal of warm weather necessities (sandals, dresses, pastel colored bags – you get the idea) spring is practically synonymous with one super important style-must: MANICURES. Ladies, much like your hair, nails are one of your very best accessories and, unfortunately, they’re often forgotten when it comes to pulling a complete look together. But the truth is that rocking the perfect polish should be, in my opinion, seasonally mandatory because great nail art can really take your look from drab to, well, fab!
Luckily, JustFab just launched an incredible new deluxe line of nail polish called PaintFab that I’ve had some serious time to play around with. Take a shot at two of my favorite springtime manis – they’re easy and fun to do yourself which means you can sport a perfect, salon quality manicure without spending the salon money! And with fresh, flirty colors like Lass With Sass and Pink Slip Me A Drink, believe me when I say you’ll be fashionably remiss not to treat yourself to a pretty new polish!
Look 1: On The (Pink) Dot
Start by applying one coat of PaintFab’s base coat.
Apply two coats Lass With Sass and let it dry completely.
Then, using the round tip of a bobby pin, make tiny dots up the middle of your nail using Pink Slip Me A Drink.
Top it off with PaintFab’s Top Coat once it’s dried and, voila, you’re good to go!
Look 2: Heart To Heart
Start by applying one coat of PaintFab’s base coat.
Apply two coats of Modern Mauvels and let it dry completely.
Then, using the tip of a paper clip, make tiny hearts at the top of each nail using Red Hot Mama.
Add a dot of Modern Mauvels to the top of each, and then a dot of Red Hot Mama in the center of that.
Top it off with PaintFab’s Top Coat once it’s dried and, voila, you’re good to go!
