Dreaming of (Pre-) Spring

9th Feb 2014 / By Guest Contributor

Historically, pre-spring collections are known as resort fashion, created for people who are escaping snowstorms to vacation in tropical places. But you don’t need to be headed on an exotic trip to wear pre-spring styles.  It’s appropriate to infuse bright color into your wardrobe at any time of year; you can never go wrong unless it’s a strictly seasonal fabric like linen or straw. And other brightly colored materials such as leather or suede are of course fine any time of year.  Just as everyone eagerly awaits the first signs of spring, JustFab has introduced a pre-spring collection featuring new pieces that can be integrated into your wardrobe now or later.

Richelle is a good transitional shoe.  You’ll need to wait until the snow melts to slip them on, but pack them in your suitcase for spring break. In a great neutral color with a comfortable stacked heel, they’re perfect to run around in and an ideal travel shoe.  They look great with everything from pants to skirts and dresses in every length.  Bring along Tyane to wear poolside with a bathing suit and cover up.

Mastermind is cheery and bright – I think yellow is a perfect pop of color and works with denim, winter white and even black.  I promise you won’t look like a bumblebee!

Society is a super great handbag because it’s nude; nude bags go with everything and will blend with an outfit even more than a nude shoe.  Society is seasonless because it can be worn with thick heavy knits and boots in winter or light flowy fabrics and sandals in summer.
