5 Super Bowl Ads Worth Watching Again

3rd Feb 2014 / By Guest Contributor

The Super Bowl XLVIII was last night, and as many of you witnessed, it was a disappointing game for the Denver Broncos. Fortunately, the actual game didn’t affect me, because I tune in for two reasons: 1) I can indulge in potato chips, and 2) I enjoy the commercials. Although there wasn’t a standout commercial, there were a handful that caught my attention. Here’s a list of my 5 favorite Super Bowl ads.

Need for Speed movie trailer. This commercial was memorable because I love fast cars, and I haven’t seen Aaron Paul in anything else but Breaking Bad. It looks exciting to watch, and I’m definitely going to catch this in theaters.

Budweiser’s “Puppy Love” commercial was released before the big game, and has since received a lot of attention for its super sweet, emotional friendship between a puppy and the Clydesdale.

Jaguar’s commercial woke me up from an accidental nap, and it was only because I thought someone changed the channel to a movie. The famous British gents that are in the commercial delivered on Jaguar’s #GoodToBeBad story, and it doesn’t hurt that the car is sexy.

It always fun to see a compilation of viral videos and moments, because it triggers an “oh yeah, remember that?” moment. The commercial also kept me guessing on which brand it was for. I was certain it was for Google, but it was for Microsoft.

This commercial features David Beckham. That’s all. But really, this was a great commercial.
