Just remember to keep your accessories simple with a sleek clutch, metallic pumps (or yes, even flats), and minimal jewelry. Personally, I love tiny studs with the accessory of the moment—the hand cuff! Sparkle always brings a smile to the face, and you’ll be surprised how often these will become your go-to looks to stave off the winter blues!
With spring fast approaching, you may also be wondering how to work sequins into the new season’s trends? Simple! The trick: Mix in print and add some color. I say go bold with floral print shorts and bright heels. It’s a great way to juxtapose texture and pattern. If that seems a bit too daring, then go for distressed white denim. It has a lived-in, beat up, “I’m not so precious” feeling that’s unexpected with sequins. Add in a backpack—the “it” bag of the season—a pair of sunnies, and some basic earrings and you’ll be the stylish envy of everyone’s eye!
