Who or what is your biggest style inspiration?
I draw style inspiration from everywhere! Magazines such as Vogue and Nylon, people and places I see during my travels; color schemes in artwork can also influence my outfit pairings.
What are 5 fashion pieces essential for every woman?
1. Tailored blazer- it can instantly make an outfit look sleek and pulled together
2. Great fitting dark denim jeans- they can be dressed up or down and denim jeans never go out of style!
3. Classic Black Pumps- they go with everything!
4. Solid Bright Cardigan or Sweater- great for layering and adding a pop to your outfit
5. LBD- classic piece that can be remixed by simply adding different accessories
If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’d go with something simple and comfortable yet still stylish: a printed blazer or moto jacket, white tee shirt, distressed denim skinny jeans, and a pair of booties.
Whose closet would you love to raid?
My mom’s! She is definitely where I get my love of fashion from and she has some amazing eclectic pieces in her collection.
We saw from your Instagram that you were recently in Paris. What was your favorite part of the trip, and did you pick up any fashion tips & tricks?
Paris is a breathtaking city with so much to offer. What I enjoyed most was being able to immerse myself in its rich culture- the food, the language, the people. One thing that stood out to me was how effortlessly chic Parisians are. They understand the value of quality fashion and wear clothes that are well fitting and suit their body. I saw a lot of trench coats, scarves- either around the neck or as handbag decoration, and fresh and interesting ways of pairing prints. I was certainly inspired to take more risks with mixing textures and prints, and to invest in more classic pieces.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Shoes! To me there is no such thing as too many pairs.
