Continue reading for our 5 favorite spring 2014 trends to look forward to, straight from New York Fashion Week!

Crop Tops at NYFW Spring 2014Crop Tops: It happened this year, and it will happen next year. Many designers, including Tory Burch and Diane von Furstenberg (both above), showed off ensembles with a cropped top. As you can see from above, the black & white trend isn’t going anywhere either!

Denim at NYFW Spring 2014Denim: Not to worry, all of the denim tops & dresses you purchases this year can be worn again next year! Denim was on the runways in all shapes and forms. Rebecca Taylor and Jill Stuart (both above) showed casual & cool looks using denim.

Metallics at NYFW Spring 2014Metallic: Who said metallic can only be worn during the holidays? The Reed Krakoff and Reem Acra shows were shining bright with lustrous metallic styles. Great for special occasions, we’re sure we will be seeing a plenty of metallic pieces next year.

Sports Inspired at NYFW Spring 2014Sports-inspired: This trend has been the underdog for some time, but we can expect to see a lot more of it next year. Designers showed off individual pieces that are sportswear-inspired, making it easy to style within your everyday look. Tommy Hilfiger and Lisa Perry (both above) were great shows to watch for this trends.

Whites at NYFW Spring 2014Whites:  We had a feeling this trend wasn’t going anywhere for a while! Crisp white dresses and separates were prominent during NYFW, and it’s hard not to love it. Next year, look out for variations of the color, such as ivory to milky whites.

Which trend is your favorite? And what are your fashion predictions for Spring 2014?
