The classic French mani was given a twist and made modern. Designers like Rodarte combined neutral tones, adding a strip of metallic color at the tip for an unexpected surprise. An easy trend for you to capture, you can build on your existing color by adding a strip of color at the tips of your nails.

And while we’re on the subject of 2 toned manis, moon manis (or half-moon manicures), were also spotted. Another variation on this trend is adding using a single color, leaving the half moon area clean, resulting in a ‘negative space’ moon mani. The shaping of the color alone gives a fun surprise, also very easy to recreate using your favorite Fall shades.

Embellished and artistic nails have been having a moment and the fall runways were no exception. Designers like Libertine and Nicholas K went for show stopping nails featuring jewels, gems, glitter and even studs for a little edge. Consider trying a similar look by adding a few coats of glitter polish halfway across the nail. Or if you’re feeling a little more playful, add a stud or small pearl or 2 (or 3!) on the moon area of the nail for your own wow moment.
