A Guide to Fresh Fall Produce

As the weather begins to cool down, you may begin to think about what’s in season, and how you can eat fresh and healthy. To help you out, we’ve put together a simple and visual guide to fresh fall produce. Hit up your local farmers markets to stock up on these in-season fruits and veggies.


To officially welcome fall, try this kale salad. You’ll need:

  • 3 cups of kale
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple
  • 3 ounce of raw broccoli
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • olive oil
  • garlic salt

Wash and dry produce before slicing. In a measuring cup, whisk lemon juice, two tablespoons of olive oil, and garlic salt, to taste. In a medium-sized bowl, combine sliced fruits and veggies with lemon juice dressing. Toss to combine and enjoy this fresh fall salad enjoy!
