Dianna started blogging in 2007, with the mantra “fab without a fortune.” For her, blogging is everything she loves coalesced into one place – writing, photography, fashion, and technology. Read on to learn more about Dianna. Plus, check out her fabulous outfits with Azzurra and Magic Kingdom!

How long have you been blogging, and what inspired you to start?

I’ve been blogging since 2007. My then boyfriend, now husband, suggested I start a blog as a place to share all my random fashion finds and bargains. Everything I loved suddenly coalesced into one place –  writing, photography, fashion, technology – and I just ran with it.

What advice would you give to a shopper that is having trouble staying on budget? 

• Track your spending for a month. Keep track of every single purchase and every receipt. This is the best way to be honest with yourself and really know where your money’s going.
• Give yourself a monthly allowance, and stick to it.  If you can’t trust yourself to pay off your credit card balance at the end of each month in full, switch to a cash-only system for a while. When the cash is gone, it’s gone (’til next month!)
• Find another hobby/outlet besides shopping. If you give in to late night online shopping or you’re shopping at work because you’re bored, try to identify the root cause of your spending and see if you can’t replace it with something more constructive.

Which trend(s) do you rock on a daily basis?

Are stripes a trend? If so, I wear them almost daily. I also fully embrace statement necklaces and pops of color, like a neon bag or bright nails.

Any upcoming summer trends you’re looking forward to?

I’m loving graphic black and white, so that’s one trend I’ve loved in the past and need to get back in to. Also daytime metallics – I seriously need some silver pumps or oxfords.

How would you describe your personal style and who inspires your style?

Classic and cool. I’m inspired these days by Olivia Palermo, Solange Knowles, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Miranda Kerr but in all honesty they’ve got way more style than me! Still, it’s fun to look at what they’re wearing.

If you could only take 3 things to a beach getaway, what would you take?

A maxi dress, oversized shades and flat sandals.  

If you had the chance to have a 30-minute splurge on one designer, which designer would it be?

Isabel Marant for shoes and jackets!
