Jazz Up Your Sandals With This DIY

Summer’s right around the corner and it’s time for pedicures, parties and tan lines! This means a wardrobe shift from boots to sandals, and what better way to prep your summer style by jazzing up some old/new sandals with an easy DIY. Click through to see the tutorial.

JustFab DIY- metal plate sandals

Materials:

  • Sandals, we used Mayumi.
  • Taper Tip Shears
  • E6000 Glue
  • Metal Sheets, found at a craft store
  • Eyeliner

 Metal sandal:

  1. With eyeliner, draw a design on metal sheet.
  2. Cut design out by using the taper tip shears.
  3. Glue design on sandal.
  4. Trim any excess metal.
  5. Let glue dry overnight
  6. Wipe off any finger prints/eyeliner after glue has dried.

 

JustFab DIY- Studded sandals

Materials:

  • Sandals, we used Mayumi.
  • E6000 Glue
  • Rhinestone Studs
  • Nail polish, or anything else to create studded pattern.

Rhinestone stud sandal:

  1. Create your design pattern.
  2. Apply design on desired area by using nail polish, color liner.
  3. Begin pressing the rhinestone studs over the given design
  4. Wipe off any excess nail polish or liner.

Note: If studs aren’t your style, swap them out for the jewels of your choice. Simply glue them on using E600 glue and let dry overnight.
