Kick up your margarita with a spicy touch by making a Pineapple Chile Margarita:
Combine ice, tequila, chili powder, agave nectar, pineapple and lime juice into your blender and pulse. To garnish your margarita glass, just wet the rim and dip the glass in a coarse salt and chili powder mixture and voilà, you have a zesty margarita!
In the mood for a thirst quenching cocktail, then try the Paloma:
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, grapefruit soda and lime juice. Give it a few good shakes and pour into a chilled glass. You can add a lime slice to the edge of your glass for a garnish If you can’t find grapefruit soda, you can use grapefruit juice and add a splash of club soda for the same refreshing taste.
Consider a traditional Mexican beverage, Horchata, a delicious rice drink. We made ours with a twist of course, Spiked Horchata calls for:
You can find Horchata at your local grocery. Combine ice, Horchata and rum into a cocktail shaker, give it a shake or two and pour in a chilled glass. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and enjoy this invigorating cocktail.
