This week’s National Craft Month DIY was inspired by my love of snapping photos and tendency to buy overpriced embellished picture frames. I can’t resist pretty frames, they make for great gifts and instantly update your office space and home. It’s incredibly easy to take a basic frame and make it fab, read on for a few tips.
Supplies
Step 1: Before your begin gluing your embellishments, arrange them on your frame(s) to figure out a pattern and/or design. I knew I wanted jeweled flowers so I glued gems onto my flowers before gluing them on my frames.
Step 2: Once your pattern and/or design is set, begin gluing your beads, flowers, gems, glitter, pearls, studs, or any other appliques to your frames.
Step 3: Let the glue dry for a few hours. Once your frame(s) are dry, simply place a photo inside.
