Celebrating Veteran’s Day With A Giveaway For Our Soldiers

Veterans Day is more than just another weekend of big sales and a mini-holiday before the major holidays begin, but also a time to reflect and give thanks to those that have served our country and continue to fight for the freedoms that most of us take for granted on a day to day. Started in 1919, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed that November 11, would be Armistice Day, later changed to Veterans Day as we know it today.
We’ve partnered with blogger Missy Lynn of Start2FinishMUA, who proudly serves as an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force, to do a Veteran’s Day giveaway strictly for our military! Check out her special announcement below:
We’d love to invite active and retired military women and men to share their favorite homecoming memory in our Homecoming Memories Contest. 5 lucky winners will each get 1 item from their wishlist.
Here are the details:
Contest is open to current military personnel or veterans only.
Share your most memorable story about coming home (e.g. basic training, travel, deployment) in our blog comments below in 500 words or less. Be sure to include your full name and military rank.
