Blair Fowler’s Top Three Fall Fashion Trends

12th Oct 2012 / By Guest Contributor

Fall fashion has always been my favorite. The cozy knits and rich textures always pull me in. That’s why this month I decided to share my top three fall fashion trends!

Fall weather is chilly, so it makes sense that high necklines are in (you need to keep warm!), but I love that you can still dress it up and have a detailed collar. An affordable way to jazz up your wardrobe this fall is to go to a thrift store and find shirts with pretty collars. Then cut them off and wear them with any of your existing shirts with high necklines! Or, be daring and wear it as a necklace with a lower cut shirt.

Need I say more? This color screams fall fashion. Anything goes when it comes to this gorgeous deep wine color. I love wearing it on my nails and accessories, but don’t be afraid to rock head-to-toe burgundy!

I’ll be honest… I’ve never been a fan of pointy toe pumps. I think it’s because of the way they suffocate my pinky toe or make my feet look bigger than they are. But I’m loving this trend so far and have already invested in 2 pairs! You can never go wrong with a beautiful boot, but for a nice night out these pumps are a great change.

P.S. I made this video of these yummy pumpkin spice cupcakes last year, and now is the perfect time to whip up a batch! Enjoy!
