It’s the 4th of July and everyone is out in all their festive, red, white and blue glory. Whether that means barbecues, bars or beaches, this is a day meant for celebrating in style! I’ll be hanging out with my friends and family, and then heading to the beach for some fabulous fireworks. I obviously want to dress to impress (hello cutoff denim shorts, a white tank and bright read heels!), and hopefully you do too! I’m not suggesting that you take your look so far that you’re a walking representation of the American flag, but I’m a huge fan of combining a couple of colorful touches to show your love for the good ol’ U.S. of A. Keep reading for the JustFab low down on how to make the right, bright impression this 4th of July!
First things first: pick two of the three colors to be your outfit go-to’s for Independence Day. Head-to-toe red, white and blue is a little bit crazy, but pairing just two of those colors will take you from WOAH to WOW. Let’s say you pick red and white. There are so many adorable ways to blend those colors for a great look. You could try a white pant with a red top and red-accented shoes (check out Kaye!), and then accessorize with gold jewelry and a red handbag. Too bold for your taste? Switch things up by wearing dark denim with a cute, white top and a chunky, red necklace. (Denim never really counts as a color, but if we’re being technical, it’s an easy way to sneak some blue into your outfit, too!) Then grab a red clutch, like Freedom, for the perfect finishing pop!
You can always go the more literal route by flaunting our flag in a high-fashion way. The Rockstar Shoe or Rockstar Shoulder Bag could be the dynamite accessory your ensemble needs for a little national flair. Another cute way to make patriotic go polished is by wearing a solid dress with a bright shoe. An adorable white, daytime frock with a bright blue pump, like Aviana, will make an amazing impression. Add a sparkly clutch to play up the shimmer in the shoe, and finalize your look with some sophisticated jewelry.
No matter how you choose to celebrate the 4th, I hope you rock your American roots with some bold, brilliant style!
