Spring is here, Fabs, and I could not be more excited! The weather is getting warmer, which means fewer layers and more chances to really show off your style. Be it daytime, nighttime, or the weekend, looking fabulous is always on-trend. Below are some of my favorite spring glam looks for your most stunning season yet!
It’s time to raise the bar, ladies–the GOLD bar, that is! And for spring nothing looks more sophisticated on bronzed skin than gold accents. From thick chains to studs, spikes, bars and cutouts, gold is the new standard in accessories.
Las Vegas went a little bit country this past weekend as Nashville’s biggest stars hit town to celebrate the Academy of Country Music Awards. Hosted by The Voice’s Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, the evening was nothing short of spectacular complete with stand-out performances, surprise winners and stunning fashion. The red carpet showcased some of spring’s hottest trends including black and white, floral details and shades of blue. But which sassy songstress deserves to be crowned Best Dressed?

Aside from my usual arsenal of warm weather necessities (sandals, dresses, pastel colored bags – you get the idea) spring is practically synonymous with one super important style-must: MANICURES. Ladies, much like your hair, nails are one of your very best accessories and, unfortunately, they’re often forgotten when it comes to pulling a complete look together. But the truth is that rocking the perfect polish should be, in my opinion, seasonally mandatory because great nail art can really take your look from drab to, well, fab!
Perforation is a very timely trend for spring/summer as it brings an overall lightness to heavy materials, which is important in the warmer months. A perforated bag will be literally lighter, making it ideal for travel, and perforated shoes will allow your feet to breathe while giving you coverage, which is especially convenient if you haven’t had time to get a pedicure. Plus, there’s almost always some type of athletic trend happening on the spring runways, and perforation falls into that category, mimicking the fabric of a sports jersey.
