Hey guys! April started off fabulous, as it does every year for me since my birthday is the first of the month! I love this time of year not just because of that, but because the weather starts to get warmer and you can start breaking out some fresh, fun colors from your wardrobe. So when people asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I said I wanted anything in mint or peach. You can’t go wrong with incorporating one of these colors (or both) into your outfit!
Pastel colors were all over the runways, and my closet is filled with gorgeous shades of pale pink, blush, coral and mint. The color family is easy to wear and also easy to incorporate into your existing closet. Another even easier and quicker way to incorporate this soft palette into your look is with cosmetics. Pastels can be so pretty on your skin and nails, so I thought I would go over my favorites.
Hey, guys! So I don’t know how many of you knew this, but March 2 is ‘Old Stuff Day.’ Pretty much anything that you do that’s ordinary should be switched up on this day. Go from something old and boring to something new and exciting! (Does that mean I can talk in a British accent all day!?) Whatever you do, don’t do the same old stuff on Old Stuff Day!
Don’t you just love long weekends? That one extra day seems like such an extension from a normal weekend and makes it feel like a mini vacation. For those of you that are treating it as a vacation and going away somewhere, here are my tips and tricks for packing your bags!
Hey, Guys! I can’t believe we are already a month into the New Year. How crazy is that?! The confetti and noisemakers have been replaced with hearts and love songs for Valentine’s Day. Whether you have a date or you’re just hanging out with the girls, here are some makeup tips and advice fit for the occasion!
Hi, lovelies! Now is the time of the year to look ahead and plan for upcoming trends. There are some trends from 2012 that I believe will carry over into the New Year, like prints-on-prints, but there are also some fashion statements I can’t wait to try!
It’s that time of the year when you want to start fresh, eat healthy and be a better you. A good, reliable theory for a new beginning is ‘Out with the old and in with the new.’ In addition to any New Year’s resolutions you may have, focus on getting more organized, because it will help in all aspects of your life. It may seem time-consuming at first, but in the end, it will save you more time, whether you’re getting ready in the morning or preparing for a dinner party.
