Hi, Erika,
The Maura ankle boots are one of my absolute favorite styles! On cold days, they look great with skinny jeans and a chunky sweater or a cute flirty mini dress with tights and an army jacket. When it starts to warm up, you can continue wearing them with bare legs and a cute floral dress or boyfriend jeans rolled up and your favorite vintage T-shirt.

Nina

I have Marjorie in taupe, I but have no idea what to wear with her. Most of my heels are black (simple and sexy), but some of the styles I see and wish to own are not black. I have no idea how to dress with some of these colors and need help figuring this out. I'm a blue jean type of girl but when dressing up, I mainly wear black, or something with black on it. please help. . .
Answer:
Hi, Jennifer,
The options are literally endless! I know it’s sometimes hard for us to break away from black as a color choice, but I feel like shoes are always such a lovely way to do just that. Sometimes black can look a little harsh next to our skin tone, so I love the idea of using one of these slightly softer colors, especially in the winter, to create a leaner, longer look. Taupe is especially good because it’s so neutral. It almost acts like a nude. Don’t be afraid of mixing these colors with black. I always think the most chic women mix their neutrals.

Nina

I would say that yes, open toe shoes are considered business casual in an office. Now, depending on what your dress code is at said office, that might be totally acceptable. As a stylist, I always encourage people to be as respectful as possible, especially when in a business environment. If your office is very corporate, I would stick to closed toe shoes.

Hi, Ashley,
Unfortunately we have a lot of great hot pink shoes, but none that also feature lace. If you want to search for them on the site, here’s a few of my favorite fuchsia styles:
Corinna, which is a slick quilted pump. Mallony is a similar style in satin – perfect for your big day. If you prefer a peep toe, try Viola or Jovianne. If you’re at all interested in some sparkle, go with Henriette (glitter, baby!) or Clementine (metallic accents). Gabby and Liz are strong contenders as well.
Hopefully you’ll find something you love to wear while walking down the aisle!

The dress hits between my knees and my shins and is fitted and simple. The party is in December. I am wearing bright, red lipstick. I want something sexy but '50s-ish. Please help me!
Answer:
Hi, Kimberly,
Sorry for the late reply. A recommend a double platform open toe or a closed toe pump. I hope the party was fun!

Hi, Amanda,
I would try out a fun sneaker wedge that has a hidden heel. You can dress it up with a nice legging, like leather, and a great button-down with a blazer over it. Stylish, but comfortable.

Answer:
Hi, Nicole,
You can wear colors that are in the same tone as caramel, such as burgundy, brown or navy. I would stay with warm tones for a rich look.
