Winter’s Most Seductive Style: Strappy Shoes

Trend alert: strappy shoes | JustFab Blog

I love a strappy shoe –  typically I go for retro-inspired mary janes, kind of a 1920′s and 1930′s style particularly.

I like to funk them up with colored stockings, and pair them with either a long bustly skirt or leggings and a mini skirt. However, I’m really loving the modern interpretations of strappy shoes, that expose more of the top of foot, and with straps running along the top of the foot, almost like lines of a Calatrava bridge.

Tabitha Simmons and Christian Dior are making gorgeous, closed-toe strappy pumps that look sharp with a cropped trouser and jacket ensemble, or evoke a little femme fatale when topping off a tight dress and shawl with loads of jewelry.
