Tips For Staying Cozy And Cute This Winter

Winter Glam Bright Scarf

Happy New Year, Fabs! This New Year will be full of fabulous and fun fashion, I promise! But let’s face facts. All across the globe, millions of girls like you and me are facing the age-old winter wardrobe dilemma: How do you face a fashionable new year with the same old drab weather? So if you’re staring in your closet confused about the best way to achieve a chic start to your year, relax! I’m here to help you stay cozy AND cute!

The No. 1 key to a frump-free winter wardrobe is managing volume. Sweaters, knits, cardigans and capes are all great styles to greet the cold. Here are some quick rules to keep you warm and on-point.

Winter Glam Printed Scarf

One of my favorite looks in winter is a thin gauged knit. Crewneck, V-neck, it’s all fair game. Focus on the material. You want softer, more delicate fabrics that round out the shoulder. A V-neck can break the lines of a standard knit. I like to tuck a thin wool sweater into jeans or a skit. It’s a great way to keep a more tailored look and cut down on bulk.

When you pick a sweater or top, I look for styles with a little stretch around the hips and waist and pair them with a thinner bottom like a skinny jean cigarette pant. Knits need shape to bring your look to life.

If you’re not into knits at all, you can achieve a spectacularly similar look with a thick scarf, which can be styled any number of ways to add a little drama to even the most basic outfit. It’s a great way to get the knit look without fully committing. We all love an accent piece!

Frump-free is the way to be! Who’s with me?

Those are just some of my tips. Please share yours with me on Facebook.com/OfficialKimoraLeeSimmons or on Twitter @OfficialKimora

JustFab is a TOTAL scam. Their product SUCKS. They charge you $39.95 and never let you cancel or return items.

The JustFab brand and product works if you are in need of ultra cheap fad fashions. I realize I am not actually in the JF target market but I thought I would give it a shot –figuring why pay a mint for rain boots right? But I think I would have been better off visiting my corner dollar store. The JF formula is simply put a "rip off". More to the point the JF customer service is hideous and consistently inconsistent.  As a true fashionistas and marketer I feel bound to share my experience --NOT RECOMMENDED. Thanks but no thanks Kimora and your not so ‘Fab’ attempt at retail therapy.

@NotHappywithJustFabI  completely agree with you.  Boots don't fit and can't return or exchange.  They don't respond to email at all.  Can't even cancel membership on line even though there is a tab for it.  Ridiculous!  I tell everyone I know to avoid this web site.  They are simply not Just Fab.
