Let’s talk shoes! We all love them, daydream about growing our collection, and maybe even have pet names for each beloved style. Have you ever been stumped when trying to describe a style? Can you explain the difference between an espadrille and wedge? We’ll spare you the stress. We’ve put together a handy little chart to help you learn and memorize the various types of shoe styles. We call this the JustFab Visual Shoe Dictionary. Reference it again and again, and share it with your shoe-obsessed girlfriends.
What’s your favorite shoe style?

These aren't very accurate. The wedged sneaker depicts a flat sole and there's no Sabrina heel, which is a classic. The espadrilles are traditionally flat and closed toe, unless that's some new spin on it. I love shoes, b/c I worked in my sis' shoe store every summer while growing up. I know shoes! This chart is misleading!
For anyone wanting to know the difference between an ankle boot, a bootie, and a shootie...ankle boots usually come up approx. 2" above the ankle, booties hit right at or slightly above the ankle bone, and a shootie usually hits below the ankle bone. Personally, I love all three :-)
It's too hard to choose! It would probably be the slingback since that's what I wear most often. But the ankle bootie, peeptoe pump, t-strap platform, platform pump and the knee high boot are all very close contenders!!
Shannon Silva a bootie usually has a shaft above the ankle. A shootie is essencially a bootie that has really no shaft, meaning it falls lower than your ankle. Like a mix of a pump or shoe and a bootie.
