Seize The Day

Blair_Nap

Hey, guys! So I don’t know how many of you knew this, but March 2 is ‘Old Stuff Day.’ Pretty much anything that you do that’s ordinary should be switched up on this day. Go from something old and boring to something new and exciting! (Does that mean I can talk in a British accent all day!?) Whatever you do, don’t do the same old stuff on Old Stuff Day!

Reach out to someone on this day, whether that’s paying for their lunch or just doing the dishes. Support someone in their goals or tell someone you love them! It is also important to tell someone you’re proud of them or congratulate them on their improvement. I think an act of kindness is a great way to celebrate this holiday.

Go somewhere or do something  you have wanted to do for a while now, but found some excuse to put off. Go on a hike, go to a museum, or go to that clothing store you’ve been dying to shop at. If you’re always hustlin’ and bustlin,’ take this day to slow down and relax. I don’t always take a nap…But when I do, I make it count. If you have chores building up, use this day to finally tackle them. Out with the old and in with the new!

If you tend to always wear a certain style or the same colors, change it up. Try wearing bold prints or bright colors if you always wear black or neutrals. Have fun with your outfit! If you wear two different colored socks, I won’t tell anyone. Wear whatever you were saving for a special occasion or use your more expensive makeup and perfume. Shake up your wardrobe and your routine!

Enjoy the day by not doing the same old, same old!

What will you do to spice up the ordinary?

XOXO,

Blair
