June Ambrose is a Stylist to the Stars, author of Effortless Style, star of VH1′s Styled By June, Rock Mom, my fashion fairy godmother, Instagram Icon, oh the list goes on and on! Her amazing style takes my breath away, so I was pretty much beyond breathless after interviewing her at Essence magazine’s Best In Black Beauty Awards, an award show honoring the who’s who and creme de la creme of the brown girls beauty biz. I dressed a few people for the Costume Institute’s annual gala at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, but my favorite look was Leslie Bibb’s. She wore a gorgeous black and navy gown by Zac Posen. She looked like a princess in this dress! I loved the subtle contrast of dark colors, and the fitted bodice really made her waist look tiny above that voluminous skirt! But it was the sculpted strapless neckline that truly took my breath away when I first saw it on her. So fabulous! I added some sparkle with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and helped her pick out the perfect JustFab clutch to carry. She ended up choosing a great woven piece with a sleek clasp that’s not even available yet, but it wasn’t easy! She loved them all, it was hard to decide! Then the real highlight of the night came when designer Tom Ford told her she was the prettiest girl there! Now that’s a compliment!
Scarlett Johansson is having a banner month, and it’s barely started! Within the first few days of May, the 27-year-old actress was awarded a star on Hollywood’s iconic Walk of Fame. Then a few days later, her new blockbuster, The Avengers, shattered records with its $200.3 million opening weekend – the biggest in box office history. While her contributions to the film industry are strong, I’d like to recognize her sensational sartorial sense. Often a blend of vintage pin-up and old Hollywood glamour, this A-lister never fails to impress with her perfect pout, flawless figure and sophisticated up-dos. Read more
It’s that strange time of year in Los Angeles when one day it feels like the dead of summer and the next day it’s windy and raining. This is the month-long period we call ‘spring.’ How ‘spring’ works in LA is like this: the last week of April is amazing and beautiful, and the next two weeks of May are cloudy off and on. Then the last two weeks of May are picturesque. FABshionistas all over the city break out their best sundresses and hats to parade around the boardwalk and Farmers’ Markets. Read more
Arguably fashion’s biggest night, the who’s who of Hollywood came out in droves for last night’s Met Gala. From Tom and Giselle to Justin and Jessica, the Costume Institute’s annual ball, which honored Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli, was a parade of haute couture and household names. But it wouldn’t be a formal affair without a little fashion analysis, so check out a few of the striking trends that I spotted on the runway, I mean red carpet. Read more

The end of April was HUGE for the JustFab family. We launched a new site design, debuted our Community and introduced a new way to shop. We even moved! From the building’s 4th floor up to the 5th floor, but still. The space is entirely new! Clearly there have been a lot of changes around here. And these transformations continue as we move into May. The girls chose some fun styles this month – but they all have one thing in common: each accessory can be worn under the sun or stars, to laid-back activities or fancy affairs. From bold and bright to fun and feisty, these hard-working hotties are beginning to shift from spring into summer. See which JustFab items they can’t wait to wear! Read more
